Dr. Cook grew up in Idaho, and after years of surgical training and practice out of state, he is thrilled to be home in the Gem State. Returning to Idaho to practice has been a long-term goal of his, and he’s excited to bring his experience to the Treasure Valley, providing his patients with honest, high-quality surgical care.

Dr. Cook earned his undergraduate degree at Weber State University, where he served as a school ambassador and was honored as Man of the Year, before earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Utah School of Dentistry. His path then led him to Nashville, Tennessee, where he completed his surgical residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and went on to practice as an attending oral surgeon in the area before returning home to Idaho. He is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Cook’s life is full. He and his wife are kept on their toes by their five adventurous children, and true to his Idaho roots, Dr. Cook is glad to return headfirst to the outdoor lifestyle he grew up enjoying — hiking, mountain biking, sledding, and camping among the family favorites. When they’re not out on a trail, you’ll likely find them cheering from the sidelines at one of the kids’ games.
